Aker Seafoods is an experienced manufacturer of fresh and frozen fish products. Our company has been in business for more than 60 years, and over the years we have built up a unique knowledge of fish and fish processing. Our company has been established through the merger of the two sister companies Thorfisk A/S and Thorfisk Trading A/S. Aker Seafoods employs some 280 people.
Today, Aker Seafoods is part of the Norwegian group Aker Seafoods ASA. Globally speaking, it is one of the most significant companies in the fish trade. We believe that being part of an international fish business group is of great advantage to us - both in terms of securing the supply of primary products and getting access to valuable know-how and expert knowledge.
Aker Seafoods' activities are based on our skilled and experienced employees' considerable knowledge and competences. We never stop working with product quality and development, improvement of production processes and quality control development.
We clearly aim at maintaining and expanding our position as a quality-minded fish manufacturer. But only in respect of our wish to contribute to sustainable fishery and our intention to supply top-quality products, which focus on consumer food safety.
